Hi. I’m MCK.

I’m a professional mural artist with over 12 years experience in public art. I’ve worked with hundreds of clients on large scale mural projects including Tesla, FlexGen, 8rivers and Grubb Ventures.

I started my career as a mural artist because of my obsession with spray paint and graffiti as a child. After spending many years in the streets refining my skills, I went full time and have fully supported myself since then from my creative pursuits.

I work primarily with spray paint, although I will use whatever tool makes the job the easiest. My work explores themes like purpose and connection; often organic forms juxtapozed alongside rigid structures. A distinct metaphor and visual language I developed to represent the blossoming of our lives and the systems we impose on ourselves.

I continue to make work today because of my sheer obsession with perfecting my craft and making a direct mark on my community and inspiring younger artists to go after their own creative pursuits.

I have a vicious sweet tooth and an affinity for 90s hip hop. My bestfriends are my partner Kim and our 2 dogs Lara and Bruce.
